Directions to use: Mix the Indigo Powder (50g for short hair,100g for shoulder-length hair, 150g for long hair) in warm water to prepare a paste. Use tea-stained water for better results. The Paste should be thick yet flowing so that it doesn’t drop while applied. Leave the paste overnight in a covered vessel.
Indigo powder must be blended with henna powder. The proportion of the blend depends on the intensity of the color one wants to achieve.
Apply the paste on your hair from the roots till the ends, using gloves if applying with your hands or a spatula and brush.
Leave it on for 45 minutes or more, depending on preferred color intensity. It’s advisable to keep it for 2 hours to get a rich black color.
Rinse thoroughly with water. You can use a conditioner, but do not shampoo. Wash your hair with a mild sulfate-free shampoo the next day.
It is completely safe to use natural and 100% henna & indigo for colored hair. However, it is suggested to wait 3-4 weeks in case you have colored your hair
